Here is what looks to be another very solid original California 1958 Ford for a reasonable price. Alan S. Freeman http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/3587237878.html
if it's as nice in person as it looks in the pics that would be a nice find. You don't see a lot of 58 300's anymore and the color combo is a rally cool. seems like there is a lot more nice old iron out west!
If it were closer, I'd own this one!!! You just don't see many '58s in this neck of the woods. That is a deal for certain!!!
I dont really want to rock the boat, but there is more rust in this car than the seller mentions in his ad. Surely photo 5 shows bubbling rust in the p***enger sill. Personally I am always skeptical when reading peoples ads. I have in the past travelled 400 miles for a rust free car, only to find a car that is fit for nothing. I agree with the comments that this is a nice looking car but a non-running 6 cylinder seems a bit high to me. Regards
Check my albums. My '58 Custom 300 Tudor was only $250.00. It needed rocker panels, two floor pans and some headlight work on the front fenders. This advertised car is a pretty steep price without knowing what it needs underneath.
