When you replace the coils to improve handling you will probably find the old rubber coil isolators to be shot, here is a solution http://energysuspension.com/universal-products/shock-boots-coil-spring-isolators.html you will have to use the provided chart to determine the part number. If you are looking to lower the car get them a touch thinner than stock.
Thanks for the heads up also, just put a set in my 55,going to tryin fit this new set in a 65 C-10 shortbed, they are 11 1/2 inches tall outta the box with a .750 coil
wow! are they just giving these things away or what? How much is the inch drop on a stock 55 p***enger car front end. Anyone know?
It will drop 2 1/2" and settle around 3" Part numbers for the matching shocks are here: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?do=discuss&group=&discussionid=18186
I have done the Granada drop spindles with the aerostar springs. If you look at my album I have the before and after pic's. The after pic's have less the 100 mole on the car and it may or may not settle another 1/2 inch.
Well ****, I finally remembered to order these and this sale is over on them!!! Figures, day late-dollar short!! LOL
new listing on ebay for aerostar coil springs for $60.61 w/free shipping still cheaper than a=zone & oreilys

anybody know where to look to see if aerostar coils will fit mII? or where to get spring specs? i tried google on aerostar coil spring specs, and got all kinds of info on the aerostar itself, but not individual components. maybe im just blind or not typing my search engine thingy correctly.
