Ok, this may be a crazy question, but oh well.

I have newly rechromed tail lamp housings (not the one in the pic) and I need to put new wiring in. I know you can buy the pigtails, but, um, mine have no desire to come out, I think they are soldered or brazed in or something. So I was just going to replace the wiring using my own connectors and wire. The only way to get the wires out is the cut one end off. Can you get these little crimp on connectors anywhere, or do you just get creative and make your own piece here? These sit on the small springs where the bulb goes. They have flat heads

Im sure I could come up with something that would work, but......

You can pick up Insulated Terminals at a Hardware or a Home Depot or any other place like that. Buy both Male & Female Terminals and you will be set.

Ok. I have a ton of terminals at home, I just never seen any shaped like these. I will look around and see whats close and go with it. They are metal with a flat head so the bulb can make contact with it. I will make something work.

Much easier to go Napa,Autozone, etc and go to the help section and buy a replacement lamp socket, then remove the guts (wiring) and install in you original taillights, park lamps etc. This is what I did when I rewired my 54 & 55. Just food for thought.:D

NAPA has new insulated contacts with a new spring in kit form. They work great. Use plenty of dialectric grease or vaseline.

Stopped by autozone today at lunch to see what and how much. These should work perfect and were $3 each. Easy and quick, thanks all for the suggestions. Always forget about that HELP stuff.
