Anyone know where to get the turn signal switch for 54 ford? I'm talking about the piece inside the column under the steering wheel. Macs discontinued them and can't seem to track one down online. Thanks.
I needed one for my 54 about 25 years ago. They were unobtainable then. I bought one for a 55, but it was to wide. I sawed it in half, tack welded it back together and made it the width of a saw blade smaller and it fit like it was meant to be there all along.
Don't feel bad. Mac's are **** anyway. Got one for a '56, was miswired from the Chinese manufacturer. Didn't want to complain and have some guy marched out of the factory and shot, so fixed it myself.
Check out C & G Early Fords, they may have one. If they don't have one there is another place called Hill Top Cl***ics that seems to have odd things like that. Also the guy that owns the place has a 54 Customline too.
Nothing at c&g for now. Hit up hill top cl***ics. Hopefully they have something. I really don't want one of those aftermarket ones...
Did you ever find one? I have an extra. I'll post or PM you a picture if you want to make sure we're talking about the same thing.
