Click on this: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?do=discuss&discussionid=18186&pp=20&page=3 Daves unit comes with a dual diaphram booster, singles are a little cheaper but a waste of money. If you are running a y-block let him know it's best to order over the phone and get advice also you may need some residual valves depending on if you keep the drum brakes or convert to disc which he also has kits for.
NascarDave from Drop N Stop is where I got mine (818)-572-5302. Great price & customer service. He is a fellow HAMBER as well. He is in the sticky.
A Galaxie or Thunderbird Booster from '67 or '68 should work, I've take some measurements and it looks like it will bolt to the 4 holes in the firewall without any modifications. The T-bird booster is a identical to the Galaxie booster except it has 4 studs where it bolts to the firewall, just knock them out and they are the same. Ford used two different style boosters in the mid to late sixties, a Bendix and Midland, I prefer the looks of the Midland. Take a look at the pictures in my profile pictures of the boosters that I have. I have a couple of them. I plan on using one of them on my '55
?? depends R u wanting to fit a dual brake system ? BUT a "remote" inline 4 wheel booster works fine on my 59 , 56 and 57 , with disc brakes up front ,still using the single system ALL REBUILT , new hoses etc.i used VH40 and VH44 booster or similar. cheers RK57
