1952-59 Ford Finally got the tail lights how i want them

Made new backing plates. Cut the original housings, mounted to a flat 18ga plate.

 

Tacked in place till i mount the others, Then i will be sealing and filling the housings.

what do ya'll think.

Qestion?? Has anyone frenched some reverse lights into the rear??? i'm looking to put some reverse lights on the old ford. anyone got any ideas or pics for inspiration?

Thanks it was hell to get them to line up.

 

Get two of these:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Bac...Parts_Accessories&hash=item232ac00820&vxp=mtr You can find them at Pep Boys etc. get two metal exhaust adapters the correct diameter,cut holes in the location you like and weld them in that way the light will be tunneled aka "frenched" in.You will want to weld a piece of flat stock across the adapter to bolt them in place so they can be removed to do a bulb change if needed.
