If it was a back east car with roof rust issues I might consider it otherwise no way.One thing when it rains it will run down away from the windows so you can crack them to prevent fogging.Try that on new cars that don't have drip rails and the rain slaps you on the side of the head .Another thing I like about older cars is having a vent window to direct a breeze where you want it instead of like newer cars where that the air hits you along the side of your face and head and in your ears and will **** your cap off
number 1 reason why convertible floor pans rot out. every time you open the door water drips in on you and the carpet. Never dries completely and destroys the car. Your wife or girlfriend will not appreciate getting an extra dose of water exiting the car. Looks good but I wouldn't do it.
