Hello All, newbie reporting in from north east texas. I have a 55 ford that was built into a g***er in the late 60's. It has a 62 econoline front axle and leaf spring set up. Its been out of comission for many years and will need lots of love to ressurect.. My plan is to stay nostalgic and mid 60's period correct with the build. I have a complete 58 edsel E 475 410 that will be powering the fairlane down the street. It will mainly be just for street crusing. Not much for actual strip use, minus the oc***ional nostalga diggs. I have alot of searching ahead of me for some cool mel parts.. So please keep me in mind if you hear of any..thank you..Happy to be a member..Grins
Also newbie to this forum! Hope your build still going strong! My g***er is a 54 mainline that was a drag car w/ sm block Chevy back in the 60s/70s! Check it out, g***er on the cheap! Have axle, 302, 3 speed stick, fibergl*** fr end. Just enough to get axle set and motor, trans, and build the 'gl*** front to tilt! My goal, also like yours is to keep it 70s period correct w/ no plans on racing it! Didn't keen to highjack your post!
