Hi there, I just joined the other night. I have a '56 Meteor Rideau Victoria hard top. First spotted the car when I was ten or so. My first 1/25 scale model was the 'AMT '56 Ford which came with the Meteor grill. Dad said it was a Canadian car and that intrigued me. Went searching for the car about 22 years later when my father in law gave me a rusty '56 Meteor 4 door on Christmas morning. Found what I was looking for in the same backyard covered in blackberry canes. I've been sitting on this car for 20 years. Has a 292 with auto, T&C radio, p/s, p/b, p/seats, and Continental kit. I have always let other cars get in the way. I'm hoping to start it maybe next year. They made things right in '56, the year I was born!
