Yep I used to work in a classic car shop, one of the panel guys got a well gone MK2 Jag and converted it to 2 door and chopped it about 6inches with the rear window laid down, never finished it but it looked real like a 50s(ie DeSoto,Shoebox etc) American custom without the front sheetmetal on. We also had a deep gloss black Mk5 Jag that we wound the torsion bars right down on it-looked cool sitting a bout 4inches off the ground-could just picture it with no bonnet sides and some hemi rocker covers showing. Some of the Daimlers of that era came out with a neat little 260ci hemi style V8 that would make a unique hotrod motor. Those Mk10s are a big heavy car and would need to go on a big diet and adopt a big block at least to push them to any decent speed.
The 50s Mercedes look way cool lowered in black with some nasty V8 power replacing the inline original engine- think German staff car with V8 rumble emmiting -pure evil!
Fluevogmobile? That's its name? Are you kidding? There it is in script on the grill. You aren't going to come up with a better name than Jaguar. Some people... Plus the loss of the Jaguar on the hood which I won't even mention. Fluevogmobile. Sounds like something you might find parked next to an American Underslung and a Kritt.
