From your photo I presume you need to repair the external section of the the dogleg where it joins up with the rocker (sill) panel. This compound curve section is included in the replacement panels that EMS supply. Macs Auto Parts have a picture of the piece they supply which I believe is sourced from EMS. Here is their part number Year Part Number Required Number Unit Of Measure 1955-1956 27841-40567-L. 1 EACH If you go on their website they have a picture of the panel. You have to buy the complete lower front half but at $70.95 they are not too pricey. Check them out.
Rick! Are you talking about this? http://s1340.photobucket.com/user/freudie1/media/Rockers/Comparison_zpsa6593437.jpg.html Note area circled from 2 door quarter panel patch. If I read you correctly you are saying that section cut from the 2 door panel will match my 4 door dog leg section. Shooting a note to EMS as well. Awesome eye!
Just dropped a small fortune with EMS. As for the doglegs, nothing they have is the ticket. I'm on the hunt with several yards that have 55 parts cars they MIGHT cut up for me. Figures that the ONE part they don't make on the lower half is what I need.
