I'm leaning toward the Rebel 16 circuit wiring harness. Do any of you know what I'll have to do to make 6v horn, slights, signals, gauges, and everything else stock to work with the 12v wiring harness?? Or will everything wire up and work for me?? Thanks, Zach.

Do a search and it will bring up several discussions on this topic. Basically, you'll have to change all your bulbs over to 12v. You can still use your horn but it may or may not last very long. Easier to just change them out for a 12v set from the bone yard. You'll need a voltage reducer for your gauges. I think it's part # IVR600 at Auto Zone. Again a search will produce several discussions on this subject too.

Exactly correct. I ran the 6v starter until it actually broke a spring. My gas guage works on 12v and doesn't seem to be any less accurate that on 6v. Temp sender could probably be swapped for a 12v unit. I use a new guage for that. I switched the o/d solenoid for a 12v unit.
