I ventured out into the HAMB's new Customs board to see what was going on. Ryan has a story in there with a '55 Ford showing that sometimes simple is better when customizing. Thought I would point that out to you guys if any of you are interested.

I like it!! I im in the camp that thinks less is more when it comes to these older cars. They had so much style on their own! Like my own car, the only thing I would change to make it more of a custom, is maybe shaved handles, shave the antenna, and remove some emblems. Other than that I think anything else would be too much. I love the term, k.i.s.s. Keep it simple stupid.

Baggs, I wouldn't do anything to your car(except maybe ditch the visor). It's great just the way it is.

I just realized that you are also in Minnesota. Do you get out to any shows? I'd love to take a closer look at your car.

The visor!!! haha!! I went back and forth on it. At first I wanted it gone in the worst way. Now it has grown on me and sets the car apart. I like it. I think I want to paint it white to match the roof though. I think it would blend in better with the overall look.

I get out to some shows. Obviously back to the fifties, billetproof, kandy and krome. Then some local shows around the twin cities. I dont think I have any left this year I want to attend. Where are you from cb186?

I love the visor! Wish I had one as the main streets in Phoenix tend to run east and west, try driving into our blazing sun in the morning and late afternoon it will literally roast your eyeballs and blind you.

I too like the visor and agree that you should paint it the color of the roof. Other than that, the car is a real gem. Love it.

I agree that painting it white would be better.

    I live in Ham Lake.

I may paint it this winter. Just have to see what kind of time I have!

Since you have some really good pictures posted try contacting one of the Photoshop guys on the main board and see what it would look like before and after then post a link to it,maybe we can have a vote ;)

I did some photoshopping of my own and it looked pretty good. I will see if I can find the photo and post it.

After comparing I give my vote to the white by a narrow margin.
