After owning this San Jose car for 5 years finally got the body finished and painted fully. Colours are 65 Ford Wimbledon White and 2012 Suzuki Sunbright Copper Metallic. This car had been exposed to the weather from 1963, apparently spun a bearing and parked up. Only had 25,000 miles on the clock though the engine was toast. This has been a journey to this point but now comes the easy part, I hope, of putting it all back together. Hope I can find all the bits. Sorry about the size of the pictures.
Hunter73 I am breaking my neck to get it out in the sun, but this year has been the dreariest spring I can remember in my 64 years. The gods have conspired to keep it under cover but when I get it out there I will post some more pics.
Thanks for the thoughts. I am in West Australia nearly 4000 kilometres or 2500 miles from them. They were flooded last year and this year they are on fire. The weather is certainly all over the place.
Managed to get the car outside yesterday. It was a bit cloudy but it does show the difference between sun and shade. This has been painted in DuPont acrylic and us yet to be compounded/polished.
