1952-59 Ford Needing to remove interior door handle/window crank

Wondering how these are held on, need to remove them so I can mount a rear view mirror. Wire clip??? Oh, it's on a '54.

Nothing more than one of these clips that hold the handle onto the shaft.

Thanks guys. I have the removal tool, bought it years ago, now to find it. Could use a hooked pick.
