Ran across this on the main board:http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=706497 Looks like he wants this Vicky to leave but it does not want to leave it's home.Kind of a like the stray dog or cat that shows up one day and then becomes a part of your family and your heart.;) Ever sell a car you have had for a while and then the one you replace it with becomes a money pit and you think,Why did I do that?

after a years attempt to sell it, he might as well face facts and realize it isnt going anywhere. drive it and enjoy. the buyer will then find him.

I wonder what it is worth? what should i be asking for it? I do enjoy it - i just get the fever for something new from time to time and try to sell it. now i NEED to sell it. you guys seem to be fans of my kind of car and fellow owners yet you think it isn't worth much for a running, driving, clean ***le, original, 2 dr hardtop.

jeffb2 - if you are refering to my old customline being replace by this victoria you are way off base - that car had issues - many of which i was trying to solve with the help of members on this board and i was greatful. this victoria is twice as nice as that car and never given me an issue

dwaynerz - it will be sold soon even if it has to go cheap

what do you really think your car is worth mr. h?

You missed my point,it's not that the car is not worth the asking price the point is sometimes fate makes us hang onto things for reasons that are unexplained and when we think "the gr*** is greener on the other side" it usually is not.Good luck with the sale, where else have you posted it?

OK - thanks for that JeffB2 - I hear what you are saying....about 6 mos ago I had an offer that was OK but at that time I didn't need to sell it and looked around and thought I cant find as nice a replacement for that so I turned it down - guy has since moved on so I need to find another buyer. it is listed here, ford barn, and now craigslist.

I haven't been here in a while and was kind of stunned to see this thread on my car - it felt it was bad mouthing the car as overpriced

i hear ya 4oldfords. i just meant its kind of like looking for a particular car. you search far and wide and end up finding it just around the corner. maybe it doesnt want to leave you.

ebay has a free "local listing" look it up, also www.racingjunk.com Just a hint,go back and delete all of your ad that is listed on the HAMB and re-list it with the new price and pictures, people seem to have a phobia that a lot "btt's" means there is something wrong and that's why it won't sell.Fresh is better ;) You can also post free here:http://www.hotrodders.com/cl***ifieds/
