used an early '70s Ford one that is for Disc/Drum since my car has been clipped. The prop valve is the one that was already on the GM clip. HTH

My internet connection has been messed up, so no updates but....

Motor and ****** mounts are made. Started to work on the motor, and found that the "running" motor I got, barely turns, and has been left outside without the intake on it for a good while. #6 sounds like the rings are real rusty.

Radiator, heater core and gas tank are all at the radiator shop, but they have yet to call and let me know that the stuff's ready nor has the driveshaft shop. :(

    We'll see guys.......................................

Oh yea, anyone got a dipstick for a 700R4???

    LMAO :D

Since the frame is also bent, and not just the sheetmetal, I'm gonna go ahead and get it all pulled at a later time.

Got the driveshaft for it today. For some reason, the "700R4" yoke bottomed out in the trans and I had to trim it. Anyone know if some are more shallow than others?

It's been awhile since I got to work on the car... anywho, picked up my radiator, heater core and gas tank from the radiator shop. the bill was only $440.00! Started stringing the wires under the hood today.

I have to get to jury duty next Friday somehow, so hopefully it'll be running. hehe...

Got to work on it for a little bit today. I decided to mount the bal. resistor and coil out of the way under the heater motor duct since the duct is an easily removed piece. I'm sure I'm gonna kick myself someday, but I decided to wrap the harness that way the wiring doesn't show as much.

Finally got the right power steering pump, after four tries today. Ignition cylinder is switched out with the new key etc, wiring for ign, gauges, and light are all laid out.

So, tomorrow, gonna rig the sending unit, run the fuel lines, bolt the newly painted alt and ps brackets on, put the sheet metal back on, solder all the wiring, run hoses, and rebuild the carb. That's all.

I've decide to clean and paint the inner fenders at a later date, when I jamb the car.

Started the car briefly the other day. Carb needs to come back apart. Gonna wire the turn signal, headlights, parking lights and the horn, then I'll be off to get tail pipes and an inspection sticker! :D
