momentumphoto here on the hamb had a gallery, but its not working (last i checked) but i was thinking it would be cool to run a thread listing all the cool photo gallery type sites for those that like to cruise pictures and get ideas. as for me i like the artsy fartsy type of hot rod photos, like the close ups of a fly in the clear...lol...or the concave lense shot of the rear corner of a deuce,..those types of shots..(alot like momentum photo's work)
Like this...? Maybe not? Got piles of this stuff. Haven't seen momentum's stuff yet. Hey bumpstick why is your car is EVERYWHERE? My website died, building another soon.
I'm updating my site right now. There are some cool car and bike pics. Should be done in a couple more days... G.
This one is depressing and inspiring all at the same time. It's mostly muscle cars, but there's quite a few photos of 40s, 50s and early 60s stuff here too. http://www.carsinbarns.com/
www.jalopyshots.com I'm partial to this one http://www.ekustom.net http://www.jalopyjournal.com/archive/TJJ/SnapShots/readersrides.htm
This is the site of them all....this site contains car show photos from mainly central events...but there are an endless amount of pictures... just click on the car show pics...or the car pics/index of pics..... believe me you will be at this site all day long.... http://www.carnut.com
I got a few here: My photo albums ...and some more here: Peel Out! scroll down to the bottom to see the albums.
Pictures from car shows all over the world at: www.hotrodhotline.com Scroll down to Features and look at Car Shows. Also look at Cars In Barns and Field Cars.
If you like hi rez digital, there are some terrific galleries in here: http://www.streetrodder.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=gallery&file=index Be sure to look through the Rockaway Beach albums, and click on the pics for the hi rez files. Outstanding!!
so cal car culture is probally one of the best on the net... I have a few pics in my gallery here: http://www.autowonderland.ca/picturegallery.html
I really like Ron Kimball's style. http://www.ronkimballstock.com/ is the site, but the photos are kinda small there.
Boone's car show pics are awesome, I hope you don't mind I grabbed a few fav's., they're exactly the cars I'd have taken pics of at the shows. I appreciate the time spent taking/making those albums & letting us in. Heck it's like having gotten to go to those shows without the traveling and expense
I've been working on one for the site, it's kinda cheesy but hey, I'm a mechanic, not a web guru! An advantage is that no regisatration is required and you can comment on the rides, again with no registration needed. The comments section went in this morning and I'm actually looking for testers...so if there are any bugs, PLEASE don't hesitate to tell me! Here it is! let me know what'cha think!
