1952-59 Ford 53 Ford windshields

Here is my question: will a windshield for a 52-54 Ford fit any model of those years? I have a convertible, and for some reason recall hearing that a sedan windshield will not fit my car. Appreciate any help on this.

 

I have heard that they are all interchangeable, the seals or weatherstrips are different on convertible.

 

the sedan windshield will not fit a convert..the convert windshield is shorter in height

 

Convertibles and Hardtops used the same windshield and are not interchangeable with the other body styles.

 

Thanks for the response. If the convert windshield is shorter, any idea how much? As well, do they make new windshields for these cars, and where can I get one?
