    Hello all
I bought these sight unseen advertised as 55-56 Ford wheels.

    New to Fords-didn't know nothin.

Looks like they are actually the later 4 nub for a 1965 up whatever (Mustang)?

    Kelsey Canada
    15x6
    4.5 bolt circle
    2.75 hole
    4 Backspace
3 Front space (from lug mount).

Will these fit OK on a 54 Club Coupe and maybe what max size/width rear tire?
Not planning to run any caps.

The early Mustang 5 lug would have been a 14" wheel, most 1949-56 sedans were 15" X 5", 15" X 6" would most likely been from a station wagon after 1957 Ford went to 14" wheels on cars. You won't have an issue on the front with them, the shallow wheel wells on the 52-55 cars can give you fits if you go too large on tire size, what size do you have in mind? The real key is having a lot of positive offset.

I thought the 4 nubs instead of 3 and the 15x6 size stamp means a later 60s wheel ?
Anyway, there is 4" of metal behind the axle pad and 3" in front of lug seat.
Will probably start with a spare old 205/70 I have and try to go wider in back from there.
Thanks. I will work on this image hosting thing again later.
