If I were you (and for the best possible result) I would try to find someone parting out a solid 4 door sedan. These do exist. In the last couple of years I have parted out a rust free Californis '54 Ford Crestline 4 door and a rust free Nevada '54 Mercury 4 door Monterey. I sold everything I could off of these cars and then sent the body shell to the crusher. I would cut from the parts car the rear portion of the inner and outer rockers, several inches of the dogleg and a piece of the door jam as one piece and then section the combined pieces onto your car. That would be easier than trying to patch it up in trying to use several pieces. If I see anything I will let you know. Alan S. Freeman

    alanfreeman, that would be awesome!
    Thanks a lot!

The car works well and is fully drivable, so i was thinking about giving it a go next winter.
