Dave, I'm very interested! And a little confused! I take it you are another source, different from RDAH referenced (Dan)? My stock front 55 bar is standard 3/4" and I would like to go with the 1 1/8". You said "I have...bars" Does that mean I would not need to send my old bar, avoiding that shipping cost?

Tee Bird Products sells them I bought my 1-1/8" from them bolted right on. 800-423-3723. Dont remember what I paid though was a few years ago
I got a 1" sway bar from Nascar Dave a year ago, it fit and worked perfectly. Made a world of difference from the stock 9/16" bar.
I did order one from a place in north or south Dakota about 10 years ago & it's still lying under the bench. Had about 10 pounds of brackets to make it work on a generic sway bar. The guy never would answer his phone so I never returned it.
NASCARDAVE - Good talking to you today, but the bar you have will not work for me, since it is straight across in the center instead of dropping down like stock. I installed a separate transmission cooler and a straight bar would interfere with the lines. I know you mentioned that it comes with shims for use if needed, but the extent of shimming I would need would put the bar close or against the side braces. ctfortner - I looked at my Tee Bird catalog and then their on-line, but did not see a 1 1/8" bar for a 55 full size. I will call tomorrow, maybe just not a listed item - but thanks for the potential source.
FordFairline55..it wasnt listed on their website when I got it either. Someone told me about them and I called and sure nuff they had it. Fit perfect. I got pics at home somewhere of them side by side and they were exact except the thickness.
