Anyone know of other places that sell master engine kits for 223 Ford six cylinder in a 1955 Ford Fairlane? I know Northern Auto Parts sells them was just wondering if there were others? I am trying to restore a very nice 55 Ford Fairlane. It is a 4 door but the body is in excellent condition for its age. Thanks for any suggestions

There's lots of places that sell a 223 rebuild package... you can even find em on ebay like this one from Clegg. I think Kanter has a kit too, and I think Macs does as well, although I'm sure they just sell someone elses kit.

The gasket kit is just an off the shelf Victor Reinz that you can get at most auto parts stores. When I had to get pistons for my 215 I got 223 pistons and I believe I used Falcon Global. I know Kanter is expensive. I bought a lot of parts from Mac's when I built my car and they are a little higher priced than some but their return policy is excellent.
