Yeah. We've got them here in Oz. They call it anti Hoon legislation. Get caught taking off too fast from the lights on a wet road and if the officer doesn't like you, you lose your car for a month, $2000 to get it out of impound and then the loss of licence for 6 months and a fine. They have impounded that many cars here in Perth now, they wheel clamp them in your drive. A few people had damage or loss of special cars whilst impounded and this contributed to the change. It is almost like the constabulary are running sweepstakes to see who can lock up the most cars. Don't get get me wrong I think something needs to be done about street racing but it needs to be policed with common sense. Here in Oz on pay per view we have a show with a bunch of *****s called street outlaws which advocates a family street racing and trying to escape the law. It tries to give the impression that it is a reality show. Talk about mixed messages for the young and impressionable. Ok I'm off my soapbox!!
Today, we have SO many places to drive really fast legally. Legal road races in our west, hill climbs, airport mile long races in the east, Ohio, Texas, street legal cl***es at Bonneville, and those are off the top of my head. For the rich to kill themselves and guys like Bieber pulling this **** is awful. I hope the judge throws the book at the idiot.
52 ragtop; when we were kids, going from stoplight to stoplight gave us maybe 50 to 55 MPH. These guys with a gazillion dollars today can buy a car to do 140 in the same distance, and in traffic. YIKES!
Yeah that is mostly right but there were some pretty fast cars and concept is no different youth and fast cars.. YouTube is full of night races and other crazy stuff Not impressed with what he's done but I won't hang him over it either. Street racing is still street racing and most of us are guilty of it in the past and some will be again in the future

I live in Canada, 30 minutes from where the Beiber is from and I think that everyone out there are in the wrong direction. His US green card should be revoked and he should be sent to Afganistian, that little piece of ****…that would make a man of him.
As far as I'm concerned, he's 19 and worth around fifty million dollars. If I had that much money I would probably be a jerk too. Its tough to frame morality when we are all experiencing different things. If he doesn't blow it all doing stupid stuff, then I see him in about ten years being a media mogul like justin timberlake.
