I was wondering how the trim above the door drip edge attaches to the car. it is about 1.5 inches wide and goes from the windshield to the bottom of rear window. Is there any do***ents i can refer to to see how this attaches. I have the original manuals from Ford for all models and cant find a description of this. It is only on the Victoria models.
They're on skyliners too. I've heard stories of my elders using can openers to put them off. I think these are the clips you're looking for
Nope those are not the trim parts i am talking about. Here is a link to the trim on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1956-ford-f..._Accessories&hash=item19e7fb3741#ht_177wt_902
Oh fair enough. The link i sent is the clips for the '52-4 hardtop drip rail trim clips. I've yet to take apart a '55-6 one yet.
The chrome strip above the drip rail on the 56 Victoria which I think you are talking about is held on with wide clips. There should be holes in the roof where the clips attach. In the ebay ad the seller states that they would have to be cut for a Crown Vic. This would have to be done for the tiara strip that goes across the roof.
