After I did a reply on the hydroboost thread, I realized I don't think I ever did an intro to this social group....may have, I'm old, memory not so good, so hope this isn't a duplicate intro. My name is Rich and I live in Amarillo. I've got a '57 Ford Custom 2dr. I've been working on for too many years (8 I think). This being my first ever build, and trying to do it right..at least to my liking, I ask a ton of questions and do alot of posting on other forums, not so much here because nearly everything I've done to the car is not Hamb friendly. Mostly just lurk and learn and add a little on the rare occasions I can.

Welcome from So Cal. If you look at our posts, most of us aren't really hamb friendly either, new motors, disc brakes, etc. Let's see what you've done to yours.

Howdy. I just checked out your build pics. While aspects may not be HAMB friendly, you sure do some incredible work!

    Thank you Skoh..much appreciated.
Well, LOL,if I post more pics in my album that are much later and further along, are the off-topic police gonna get me? It seems like they are a bit more lieniant in the albums than on the threads. I believe I do have to post them in the album, and transfer them here..is that correct?
BTW...Zap....the FAQ section you referenced, were you talking about the main forum?, or is there one in this club I can't find

Welcome from Nor-Cali. 2X on what the Stig said,Some of us don't have Hamb friendly cars but they are what makes us happy. Looked in your album of your build and I am very impressed at the nice work you have done. I have been in the auto body trade for over 40 yrs and it goes to show that you don't need to paint your car in a 80K heated paint booth to turn out a good one, What it comes down to is the nut behind the gun!
    Again nice car.

Texas57, you can pretty much post any kind of work here whether it's off topic or not, as long as it's not political or insulting to other members. So, let fly with the mod motors, Chevy motors, even interiors from brand new cars.
Here's a link to the FAQs.

Thanks again. I take great pride in what I've been able to accomplish so far. No one has touched the car but me, but I've had so much help and guidance along the way. I had painted a few cars 35 years ago back in the days of acrylic laquer, but as I've mentioned this is my first build, first changing of anything from original, first engine conversion, first everything.
