Bob Drake has some for under a hundred, look just like Red's. Any opinions? Big price difference and they look exactly the same.

Both look like they came from the same place and you get gaskets with Drake for half the money. No brainer for me on this one, be buying by price this time.

Why do you want headers? If its for better performance, before you buy, look down inside. I have seen some made so poorly they used a torch to cut a hole in one tube before welding on the next. Yes, it will run that way. The whole idea of headers is to flow more air. Clean cuts and smooth welds inside as well as out is the answer to that.

I wasn't so much interested in headers for duals, but my existing exhaust was cut about 2 feet from the header flange and I haven't seen anything online that I can buy and bolt on. I can drive to a muffler shop maybe but since I don't have a working turn signal switch I don't have brake lights.

If you want a really great exhaust system for a car with a stock type engine, call Waldron Exhaust. They advertise in Old Cars Weekly. They made me a complete system, 2 1/4 inch, all mandrel bends, following the stock factory dual route, and it bolted together. The stock size would be a breeze to install. The 2 1/4 took some extra effort. Its not cheap, but it is made of the heaviest pipe I have seen for exhaust. I used their house brand mufflers too. At idle or part throttle, they are quiet. When I get on it, they sound off. I love my Waldron Exhaust.
