I figured I'd offer this up here before I post on the main board. I've got a transmission adapter for a Ford 215/223 to T5 (S-10). I bought it from Coal City Customs (Nailhead65 here on the HAMB) last year and never used it. Block cracked on the 6 and now I'm going to V8 so I have no use for it. $100 plus $10 shipping (I paid $125 for it) here in the continental US. PM me if you're interested or for shipping quote if you live abroad.

Hi Chopd top, Was the block that went bad a 215 or a 223 ? I am looking for the lower crank pulley or may be called a crank dampener for a 223, If you have one for a 223, I would like to buy it. If you have one for sale. Let me know. Dave

Anybody know if this adapter would fit a 52 flathead car bellhousing. Are the v8 flatheads and I6 bolt patterns the same. From the picture it looks like it might be???????????
    Thanks Mike

I believe this would work for some Flat-head Ford V8 bellhousings(49-53), Merc Flat-head V8 (52-53), early FE (58-64) and Small block Ford (car) bellhousings (62-64) as I believe the trans to bellhousing bolt pattern was the same. I could be wrong and if any FE or Flathead gurus know of any difference, please chime in.
