Just like the ***le says, I've got a 54 Ford 2 door hardtop and I'm trying to remove the upper garnish moldings above the doors and above the rear 1/4 gl***...... I've removed the screws but they feel like they are practically welded in they are so solid, I've tried prying the top down thinking they are clips and no go, please help!!! :)

I use a brake adjusting tool. If the car has good paint, protect the body and slide tool under the bottom and pry it up and just keep moving down the stainless a little at a time.
