I actually started this over on the main HAMB board, but this is probably a better audience for this question. When I first join this social group I attempted to post some pics of my new project, but the file size was too large to accept. So, fast forward 4 years later and I'm basically finishing my 52 Victoria(I call it round one)---So, here's my question. What happens when you take a car completely apart, then put it back together and have 1 piece left over. That's my dilemma.
    Thanks Mike

If you have only one part left over I would call you very successful! The part pictured looks like rubber door or window edge to keep water or wind out. Drive the car, note where wind noise is. After four years working on it, you may have such a large grin you cant hear anything anyway.

Trim piece for the rear window or package tray perhaps?

Only 1 piece? Success I would say.

Thanks guys. I know it's an inside trim piece and probably goes around either the front or rear gl***. As you know, the 52 Victoria is somewhat rare. When I dis***emble a car I'm pretty good about bagging and labeling the screws and bolts, but I'm not always real good about labeling large pieces. I know my "old's heimerze" must be kicking in. I have an actual shop manual but it's not listed there. Important safety tip---interior trim pieces in a Vic go together like a jigsaw puzzle. My kids tease me"Dad if you wouldn't take them apart, you wouldn't have these problems."

Anyway, I haven't put the visors back in and I think it serves as an additional front trim to finish them off. You gotta keep laughing, that's what makes this insanity fun.
