    I Have a 41 Diamond T Cab COE, I would like to put on a 1 ton dual wheel ch***is, will install engine behind the cab, any ideas on a ch***is would be appreciated......P30, Izuzu, chev, Ford, motorhome, stepvan, welcome all ideas.......Thanks...just looking for the easiest route ??

  2. Isuzu track width was to narrow for my Autocar, Ford front suspension holds your cab higher than Chevrolet. That pretty much leave you the choice of P-30, GM motorhome, or various length GM pick-ups. I like the idea of buying a Dodge dually with a ***mins and having a real truck, others may disagree! LOL

    mine is not a COE ,
    but i used a international "low pro" MDT ch***is (ex U-haul truck) for my 1952 DiamondT ;

    maybe way too large for what you have in mind :confused:

    i picked that ch***is for its low frame height (tapered rear frame)
    as well as for its excellent rear air suspension design (Z-airleaf with traction links)

    i just lowered the front by ~3.5" to fit 11R22.5 rims/tires on it
    here is how the 'T' looks now (still a work in progress :rolleyes:)

    Stephan, I just spent the last couple days reading through your build thread over on Pirate, killer truck. You have me thinking about building a similar OTR camper people and dog hauler. There are alot of things in your build that I think the guys in here would like to see, not sure if it would truly fit as it is not a coe, but it is very cool and very well built.
