For those that might not have gotten the March issue of R & C, the complete Asphalt Ego-Rama coverage that was printed in the mag, PLUS some extra pictures from the week long adventure, are now up on their website. http://rodandcustommagazine.com/eventcoverage/0603rc_ego/index.html
Congrat's Denise!!.............nice to see you and your Dad's wheels do so well in the compe***ion!!!!!
Very good Denise. It's a shame the bear picture didn't get used. Their coverage pales in comparison to your daily reports. Your reports were one of the high points to my hot rod year. I realize that the regular mag reader probably wouldn't appreciate them, but it just means they were left out by not being exposed to your adventure. Looking forward to meeting you in person somewhere this year.
You get TWO cookies after that ****up! Thanks for putting all of our hard work in one bowl and flushing so ceremoneously! I was on MOST of the trip and never heard about the bear incident- must have happened while I was lost in Yosemite.
Ya know our lil ******* buddy there has more fun than allowed by most states by law ! I just grabbed the copy of RnC hot off the shelf and it was one of the best reads ! denise . i gotta say that hubcap story and bear pic is a total cl***ic ! had me bust'n up big time , your ride is now bear approved , make that furball a hamber ! Great job on the mag too guys, the coverage was great ! Congrats to all ! The bike ridin cone test was a cl***ic too .
JimA, here is some more **** up...The magazine issue was a great read, with great cars and great people. Denise, you are the consumate hot rod chick. Grats to all involved.
Is this where you went hunting for the lost hubcap? ...and how did this mighty road warrior fare in the compe***ion? And then there's that SO-Cal logo thing. I think that I saw that sign on a guitar recently. Hmmm Dad's Olds was looking good! Congrats! pigpen
Congrats to all the HAMBers who participated (including JimA) and shared their experiences with all of us. Coverage of this event keeps getting better and better. Next year maybe we can have live feeds right from the cars as the cruise down the highway
I wish to apoligize to JimA for my comments earlier in this thread. I have not read all the issue. I was comparing the R&C web coverage with Denise's. To not have read the whole issue is obviously unfair to p*** judgement. I'm sorry Jim.
No problem- no such thing as a "bad opinion". It was just that we put a lot into that issue that was geared toward Hambers and the HAMB - without having actually seen the printed issue (you only saw the web coverage) with the features on EVERY car in the event you don't get the whole story you were looking for.
