I admit it. I did something stupid. I sent Ryan an email with choice words about the new format. I left my phone number thinking he wouldn't have the balls to call. He did. I learned two things - ONE - After pretty much yelling at me like 2-year old for 5 minutes, he calmed down and offered to walk me through the new design. After about 15 minutes I got it. And now I'm eating crow. I actually kind of like this thing now. TWO - Ryan is a stand up guy. and I feel like an *** for what I did. So this is my apology Ryan. I'm truly sorry. Thank you for taking the time.
HA. I've been waiting for this post. I got two things for you: 1. I didn't yell at ya... I just asked you why you sent such an email without giving the site a chance. Sometimes I think folks forget there is a real person on the other end of the keyboard. That's all. At no time was my blood pressure high - promise. HAAAA! The more I learn about the boss, the more I like him. A no-nonsense straight shooter, if you ask me. My kind of people. I think everyone just needs to give this thing a chance. It's cool as hell. Good post. I even gave you a "like".
I personally HATE change of any kind, it's just me being a grumpy old man, but I'm poking around the new format here and finding somethings have improved...and somethings are gone that I miss...but hey, who am I to say what's best...

I agree with Ryan being a stand up guy. I made some stupid remarks and was causing trouble a while back, more than enough to be banned. Instead I got a message telling me what I'm doing wrong and not to be such pain in the ****. The big bosses tolerance is extraordinary! Doc.
Remember, by nature we like things "as they were, in this hobby of ours", but the boss here hasn't steered us wrong yet! Sure it's different, but give it a chance everybody.
I'm liking it more and more......I've started a couple new threads, but can't seem to find them when I go to New Post....must be doing something wrong....I'll figure it out sooner or later......I personally like a guy that stands his ground, but also has the character about him to forget and move on with the task at hand...not holding grudges......we're really all in the same bowl, some are nice, some are thorns and some are sand paper....when it's all stirred up the rough edges will smooth out over time......looking good Ryan
