Hey guys, New here, thought I'd say hi. Been digging what I've seen. I prefer to keep my girls pretty stock, swapping hubcaps from other years and makes and such. I like em a lil rough around the edges, so I pick up another one before I get one <finished>. It's a sickness I know. Anyhow, heres a pic of a few of my ladies in waiting. Here's to making and meeting new friends and learning from each other. Cheers.
thanks for the welcome, 1967gt, how old is old? I see quite a few, theres a salvage yard I know of north of here that has stuff back to the thirties. mostly one ton or better, beings this is farm country and all.
Welcome from an old Emery, SD boy, now living in Kansas. Lot's of nice old iron hidden in the shelterbelts up there. I worked for a farmer up there for a couple of summers, and found out years later that his dad's 38 Dodge pickup was sitting out in the trees, I never knew it was there. He sold it for $25.
so, does anyone know of local clubs/ groups around this are that are laid back and easy to get to know, I'm looking to learn more skills and maybe I can pass on knowledge as well.
