First off i am very new to model A's so I appreciate any input. My mom had been wanting a tudor for awhile. She wanted something she could drive to town to get groceries and what not. (Town is 30 miles away) I had been on the lookout for a few years but nothing came up that was within distance or budget, until January of this year. I found a '30 tudor done back in the 90's I'm ***uming by style and parts used. Brought the ole girl home. Haven't crawled around it 100% so I'm not sure of all the details but Here are some pictures to tell the rest. Don't worry, she is getting a major at***ude adjustment next summer. Nice car. My next "keeper" build will be a '30/'31 Tudor. I would love to start with something that nice...
Thank you but the pictures are a little deceiving. Has rust bubbling on the bottom of the cowl and a couple small bubbles on the back body seams. Those could be paint failure but not sure. Other than that, it has some small bondo cracks but no big deal, it is all coming down to metal. It does have gl*** fenders but found a set of steel 31 fronts to put on. Had a little time to work on the A this last weekend. It had a very worn out dual points distributor so I swapped in a new summit brand with a blaster coil. While doing everything else, I put a new set of plugs and wires. Car runs 10 times better. Everything on the car seems to be built very well but then it looks like the wiring was an after thought. After driving it for awhile, the headlights quit, along with the turn signals and radio. Chased down the turn signals to a bad flasher and one wire on the radio had come apart from its crimp connector. The headlights, however, are not getting any power from the firewall forward. I will tear the big taped up-zip tied mess of a loom and chase it from there. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
