One of the cars that slipped thru my hands was a 1960 Edsel 2 door sedan w/352 hipo and a 3 speed stick. To make it really strange/great, it had factory pink paint. I was offered the car but didn't buy it. But, I wish I had it now!!!
Well My edsel is finely ready to cruise down the streets hope u like it Posted using the Full Custom Edsel App!
What a fantastic thread! The prototypes are fantastic to look at and wonder. Here are some newer pics of my car that I have owned for over 20 years.
Hi , did you buff the tyre before spraying and use primer or repair adhesive , or just spray straight on Thanks Dave
Just picked up this 59 Ranger. Its Canadian built, one of 492 2 door hardtops built 332ci 3 spd auto ps pb and town and country radio. The car was a org black car with a trim code 90 which seems to be a mystery. Most mechanical including the engine has been rebuilt. The body was restored in 93 and is still wearing the same paint. The seats and dash are done in pleated vinyl. The door panels are from a Corsair, black and red. Twin antennas, cruiser skirts, shaved handles and dual smitty mufflers. The chrome reverse are nos 60s thrush made. Great old cruiser, nice to see so many edsel lovers
Here's something interesting- This is what the proposed rear quarters were looking like in 1956!! Notice the E emblem in a triangle on the rear quarter, the ribbed side panel AND the V shaped back up lights. The V shaped back up lights would eventually become delete plates on cars ordered without back up lights.
