Here we are getting some progress on my 3 window. The 270 hemi is getting rebuilt right now, and I'm waiting on the adapter from wilcap for a T5 5 speed. We made the rear frame rails 4 inches higher and spliced in the rails to make them look stock. The quick change is from Speedway Engineering. I plan to run the oil cooler pump with a cooler and a watts link. I'm pretty excited.

I NEED THE SIDE OF THE HINGE FOR THE BODY ALL THE WAY AROUND. I PIECED THIS WHOLE THING TOGETHER. I ALSO NEED A TRUNK LID. IF YOU HAVE ANY, LET ME KNOW.

Looks like a great project! Does that hemi have mechanical hilbornes? What ever it is, it looks bitchin' Someday I'll own a '36. Hell I'd even take a 5-window; I'm not picky at this point. They keep getting pricier every day.

How long did it take you to piece the body together. It's nice when it just falls into place but when your left with just a couple of stuborn pieces to get it's kinda frustrating. Looking REALLY good, keep us updated.

I originally bought a 5 window and got some doors and a roof section from bobby green. The 5 winder had great sheet metal and so when I found this 3 window body in visalia a few weeks ago I thought I could have an actual one and not cheat. I paid alot for the body but dang it is pretty nice. All I need is a deck lid. I'm hopin to drive it to the march meets but it may not happen unless the cam grinder gets the cam done in record time. Plus I will probabley run out of cash after finishing the trans and clutch and hilborn injection and all the details. But i was going to run it rough or bare metal for the summer before the body mods start.

I still have a great 5 window body for sale, that is super nice, check the classifieds

I have asked the same thing many times. And what happened to the doors off the 3 window body. I cannot imagine that there was a better body that needed those doors and decklid. I wish the doors were patinaed so it would all go togther. but the doors are BLINGIN man.
