We have a 1940 dodge front axle and spindles we want to use on a hot rod project but we don't have hubs or brakes. We have been trying to sell it because we don't have brakes for it, but we will use it if we can get some. Does anyone have drum brake assemblies or know of something that will work? We would appreciate any help. Thanks.

You should consider joining the Yahoo group 39-47Dodge. Someone over there can help you with the brakes

Go to www.rustyhope.com and get a disc brake conversion kit for it. Probably cheaper the rebuilding the original stuff, if you can find it. You may have to email him directly if the website doesn't show a kit, I know he has made them in the past. Gene
