Surely with the availablity of 57 Chevy ch***is new these days, these cars are buildable. I'm sure Art Morrison would add the couple extra inches if you asked. And 57 Chevy floors could be used. We restore cars like that in Europe all the time.

 

Yes, anything is buildable, but you would need some deep pockets to do that 2 door.
Now add the Art Morrison ch***is and the chrome work and the...........!
Like I said not a reasonable car to build!

A friend of mine found a '57 Pontiac 2 dr hdtp that had sunk into the ground, floor rusted away. He took a 79 Coupe Deville and cut the body off, leaving the Caddy floor pan. Mated the two together and he has a '57 Pontiac that drives like a Cadillac!
