Hey if anyone needs to get ahold of Marty Lackner of EELCO here is his home address and a number that was with the address. I am not sure if the phone number is good but I do know that the address is good I have been there before. I have read way to many things about how this guy has cheated people and taken money and never shipped stuff. Also below is his ebay name too.

    Marty Lackner PH# 503-651-3352
    30690 S. Arrow Court
    Canby Oregon 97013
    EBAY Name: popkulturecollectibles

I had a hamber contact me once about buying a pattern from this guy and I had to tell him it was marty and my opinion was not to buy anything from him.

  2. That's just a shame. There are many honest, decent hard working people that would gladly take a companies history and build and expand on it for the positive, especially in such a close knit community as we are all in. It doesn't take much to throw it out the window. This is just sad.

  3. I just emailed Eelco about some parts today... anyone else have any input? I don't want to get screwed over.

I was one of the 20 or so people who gave him half up front when he said he was going to make a 6x2 log manifold and water crossover for a DeSoto Hemi. It took just about 2 years of excuses, promises, unanswered phone calls, HAMB messages (he was suedesled back then) and waiting, but I finally got my intake. Never did get the water crossover, but an Eelco plaque showed up in the mail a month later...I get the feeling that I was one of the few lucky ones...

I had a very costly experience with this crook several years ago.

I am relaxed don't you see my beer <

Maybe a month here and you're feeling your oats.

Also beware the many other names he has used. Northwest Speed comes to mind. And I know there were many many ebay names.

Chill, bud. Zman was just trying to give you some additional places to look, no need to bash him for being helpful ! An apology would be nice.

Don't buy anything from Marty, he is a crook. I worked for him in the early 2000's. He would blow all the customers money and bring in another car for more money and nothing would ever get finished. I got screwed out of several weeks pay. Marty was the only con man, the people that worked for him were just trying to make a living doing what they love and they all got screwed too.

I sued Marty Lackner years back after he provided a $1500.00 bad check in exchange for me making 20 or so Nail head trans adaptors. I of course won however the shifty bugger said that it was his wife's company that he "just worked for". We never got the adaptors or the cash.
It was more work to actually get the money once you have had your day in court. I live very close to his house where he used to run his business from.
If anyone needs a flaming bag of dog poo, or human for an extra charge, I may know someone who can deliver it "hot".
    Steer clear of this guy.

So, who put the ell in ellco? So, he never ships any orders? Or just in a few special cases?
Is this the web site? http://eelcoequipped.com/

That home page shows that EELCO is a SEMA member. Still? Wonder why SEMA doesn't pull their certification / membership from him? Gary

  19. Unfortunately, it's impossible to verify unless you are a SEMA menber.
Guess I could be one if I wanted.

He had a Nailhead group on Facebook for a while. I don't think it's there anymore.

Even the local foundry that did castings for Marty wont do any work for him anymore. I'm totally surprised he's still selling on Ebay, but I guess the name change is getting him past Ebay? I've been to his house and bought linkage parts from him many moons ago, and of course no issues buying in person. For awhile when he got caught screwing people out of money he quit his business and bought a local arcade to run. But it failed, and not sure what he's doing now as nobody I know who dealt with him has done anything with him for over a decade or more.

Els Lohn was a founding member of SEMA. For $100 a year, you can have SEMA membership.

Sad thing is, his "EELCO" Dual Quad Nailhead Intake flows a bit better than the original Edelbrock B262. Sucks that something like that is tied to a less than scrupulous merchant.

Many times, a foundry will settle for anyone willing to pay an outstanding bill and give you any raw castings or patterns the deadbeat customer has there....

The small one man foundry doesn't have any of Marty's patterns.

Arias purchased Richies Dragmaster castings, and sells a nice set of brackets. Reputable seller too. $75.

FYI this guy started Liberty Mopars and was featured on Graveyard cars. Hopefully he can run an honest business this time…
