Theres a place in huntington beach on Redondo Circle, I dont have the # but They are called Media resurfacing. I just had my 66 c-10 cab and doors done there for $600 and turn around was less than 24 hours. They did a real good job

  3. Cool thanks for the info. What did they use walnut chips?...just curious.

Yep, told me 1400.00 same 51 Ford. Media Resurfacing in HB is around 900.00.

The machine for Soda Blasting on a trailer is 30k. We just need 28 other people to go in and just buy one. Probably recover our costs within months.

    Good Luck

  7. Sounds like a plan.

  9. Thanks oldtimer. Hey i heard that sandblasting can give you some trouble in the future. When your ready to paint guys were still finding sand in jams and cracks.Have you had any trouble getting rid of the excess.

Same problem with dipping...caustic chemicals can stay in joints even after multiple rinses. At least sand is inert.

  11. they used walnut shells, but yes it gets in EVERY nook and cranny. they try to get most of it out, the trip on the freeway home helped (open trailer @ 65mph :D ) and my liberal use of a air blower/vacuum got the rest out. you also have to remember when you use filler  or just sanding primer surfacer, the dust will get everywhere too.......so you need to clean it out anyhow before you paint.
