I just ran accross an older catalog for Butch's Rod Shop, does anyone know if they are still in business. If not, does anyone know of some sources for early Chevy suspension parts(1925-1929)?

Sadly no. They had a 'garage sale' and the list of goodie's was unreal. Egge Machine Company 8403 Allport Ave. #RD Santa Fe Spring's, CA 90670 Mon.-Fri. 8-5 PST phone #(213)945-3419 (800)866-EGGE. This is one place to look for alot of rare, old part's.

When did Butches close? We bought parts from them last year for my son's 47 Plymouth. They were under new ownership, but the guy said they were going to keep doing bussiness as Butches Rod Shop. I have the catolog they sent us out in the garage, may have a new phone #. I'll get it in the morning, I'd have to put some clothes on to get it now... Gene

I talked to Butch last week. Looking for some shoebox parts. He sent me a copy of his recent flier, referred me to Opie's Hot Rod Parts 937 704 0956 they do engine & tranny mounts, brake pedals & rear suspension for 28-59 GM, Ford & Mopar cars & trucks. Looking forward to getting their catalog. I think this might be one of the guys worked for Butch before he sold Butch's Rod Shop, not sure.

I contacted Opie's today and they still have alot of the items that Butch's carried it the way of motor mounts and frame hardware. And they were able to point me in the right direction on the springs and axles. They are sending a catalog to me.

Thanks for the help. If anyone has additional sources I would appreciate the direction.
