I'm wanting to know what automatic transmissions will bolt up to a 47 plymouth inline flat head 6, and does anyone have a pattern for a headliner for the same year?

They used the same engine in Plymouth and Dodge cars and trucks up to 1959. From 1954 they were available with Powerflite 2 speed auto (like Powerglide) from 57 - 59 you could get Torqueflite 3 speed auto.

These are the only true auto transmissions that bolt up. There are adapters for more modern transmissions.

  6. Call Acme in long beach CA, they have new headliners for less than 100 bucks.

I do you have a contact number or website. I tried to Google them but I couldn't find an upholstery company with that name.

I'm really not wanting a new headliner. I'm mainly wanting a tattered one to use as a template/pattern so I can make a new out of the material I have.
