I 'M thinking of building a small trailer with 29 ford wire wheels just big enough for a cooler and chairs. If you have one I would like to see some pictures. THANKS
Don't have a picture but I built one to tow behind the coupe many years ago out of an old apartment size chest freezer. Took about 6" or 8" off the bottom to the top of the compressor opening and put a new sheet metal floor in it. Made a angle iron frame with a home made axle using a pair of old spindles. Made fenders from an old spare tire cover from a '30 era car. Made a frame for the cooler on the tongue. Paint it red, put some handles and black lines on it and the logo "Snap On" and it will look like a big tool box on wheels.
The old stand by Mullins has long been a favorite trailer but then again a original is pricy,, But several companys are building fiberglass repos. I have one of these in the barn that I haven't used since our kids traveled with us,I guess it's about time to dig it out and start using it again now that we are traveling in a 2 door again. HRP
This is my "bring everything I can't live without" trailer. It"s an old 4X6 rental trailer and tows just fine behind my roadster.
I wouldn't want to sleep in it but it does make a dandy porta potty at Speed week. Butch, it's a 23 dodge.
Spirit Industries, the folks that produce fiberglass T Buckets bodies and others have I kit. Know nothing else about it: https://shop.spiritcars.com/mullins-trailer.html
