I have a shoebox with a transplanted small block Chevy engine. The previous owner put in an electric fuel pump. I would like to go back to the mechanical fuel pump but, there is not a lot of space due to the front cross member. Does anyone make a compact mech. fuel pump for compact spaces? or, am I stuck with a electric pump? I'm just looking to reduce electrical issues....Thanks

back in the old days, we'd cut a hole in the crossmember for mechanical fuel pump clearance, or use an electrical pump.
