Working on a '53 chevy and am gona have to replace most of the bottom rear of the doors. I've bought replacement panels all the way around starting at the doors including the inner trunk at the latch point and new trunk pans. All that said where should I start first? I want to do it the best/right way and don't want to redo if at all possible. I realize I'm a novist but measure twice cut once right...

1st where did you get replacement panels, then we need to look at which part is the worst, and body style. if you go to our facebook page "ems automotive" under notes is a few pages on " how to install body panels" i think posted it on the hamb but cant find anything till the search function gets fixed, mesure many times cut off about 1 to 2 inches less than you think and then recut after confirming the original cut line

if you have more question i will be back in the shop next week you can leave a message i'll try to call back

The trunk floor pans were from rock auto (Cl***ic to current was the manu I think) and the rest was from ecklers.
