I'm very early into this project. I've had the car two weeks so nothing is completed. Aside from the planned ls motor and airride its going to be a mild custom.

Bag mount made cross member notched and roughed in. Plating still needs done.
That's it for now. Should make some more progress tomorrow. So far a lot of cutting. We all know that's the easy part. Fitting and welding day tomorrow. That'll be much slower progress.

Moved forward some. Kind of forgot to take to many pictures lately. Just a couple junk ones. Finished the z on the front last week. All bag mounts on the front are done. Core support cut down. Lit of finish work left to do when I pull the body off. Moved on to the back tonight. Kind of bummed the rear end I got from a buddy is to narrow. Like to find a g body rear end and use the factory style triangulated for link. I'll try and do better taking pictures. Had it rolled out today looking at it and didn't even think about taking any.

Nice progress, I will be following this one. I picked up a rough '50 a short while back and all I've had time to do is strip the interior. This is motivating to get something done.

Everything excluding the steering box is finished on the front. I've moved to the rearend. Picked up a 1978 firebird 12 bolt with posi to go under it. I'm about finished building and installing my the three link. I'll get some pictures to post later. I forget to take them. Only one I have is a ride height picture on stands for now.

Got it on its wheels again. I've got a little more work to do to get it all the way to the ground. I built a 3 link with the lower bars going forward and the upper arm backwards. Still need to bridge it to get the back all the way down and a little more to get the front where it needs to be.

Looks like a great start. I have a rusted up '50 in my garage waiting on my slow ass to get to it. This is good inspiration.

It's been awhile since I worked on the car, moved, new baby etc. In the last couple months I've just about finished all the suspension work. Here's how she's sitting today. Researching chopping the top. Any guys around got some good photos of cut lines? Thinking 4/5.

Got suspension all wrapped up. On to the top. Lot left to do but I think I got the lines about how I want them. My first chop. So it'll take a little while to figure it out.
