    can people do that?

    sometimes I think I should
but I am not a businessman
    or a salesman
    or driven
    or even disciplined

and it's hard to imagine making the same income that I do at my regular job..

    it's a cop-out I know,
but it's a lot easier to just go to work
and collect a paycheck every Friday..

..that list in that earlier thread
    about significant builders,
the guys that have enough balls to just do it...
they are the ones that belong on the list

I'm just the guy out in his garage

Isn't that car done yet. Hell, you've been working on it for about a month. What's taking you so long?

    Damn, now that was funny!

That is where the real talent resides. No big multi-million dollar shop, no big-buck TV endor*****ts.... just a real man in a real garage builing a real hot rod. Nice work- real talent.

Your project pics are my inspiration to find a Model A coupe to replace the one I sold 20 years ago. The hunt is currently on. Thanks for the pics.

Well, getting stuff done & still post as much as you do, that's pretty impressive! Really like the way your work turns out too, hats off...

  8. Nice job! Both on the car and your excellent (as usual!) post. I really need to get over to your side of the state, and check that out in person. I've stolen quite a few of your ideas:D
