Event Coverage Hot Rod Reunion advice?

Going for the first time but will only be there Friday. Plan to see other stuff in the area. Suggestions for a rookie?

Watch out for golf carts

 

The Friday evening gathering of rods at the "Plaza" hotel area is not to be missed.

 

dont forget the sink hole at the corvette museum

 

YOU WILL KICK YOURSELF FOR ONLY BEING THERE 1 DAY...

 

Wont have to worry about many golf carts this year. NHRA has banned them unless you are racing. I think thats a great move. Last year was ridiculous.

Bring ear protection. Its LOUD. You'll be closer to the track then any place you've ever been to.

 

We're driving the white tudor from PA with friends in a 31 Plymouth sedan. We're going to tour the Corvette ***embly plant, the Corvette sinkhole museum and Mammoth Caves but because of work, we'll only have Friday at the drags. Better than not going at all plus we're regulars at a lotta hot rod events.

Any more suggestions?

 

i wish i had known that, thats one of the reasons im taking the year off. maybe next year!

 

Sorry but 1 day aint enough. Friday night at the hotel is a got to do.
