    Beat him by a 10th....

After looking like this for the last four years, I'll go back to no letters ( and possible color change) this coming winter.

I have to agree with Joey. The car speaks for itself, and since it is not a race car, I would not do it. Less is more.

  5. I was going to say no...but after seeing the mock-up pictures, I have changed my mind. Not only yes, but Hell Yes! That is, as long as you don't screw it up by doing some fake patina thing to it.

    Mark,
From seeing what you have done to the 29 Dodge so far I am confident that you will not screw up the lettering on your car, go for it !!!!
Then get her on the strip and post some times!!

From what I see in your pictures, I think your car will work great with traditional race lettering. I'd do it if it was mine. I also prefer it to be permanent. It's a big choice, but if it's not permanent it wont look as good when people are up close and looking it over.

I love the names people come up with for their race cars. I can never think of that cool stuff.

I showed up one day back in the late 70's to letter a Vega Wagon Drag Car for a guy...he wanted one name, his partner wanted another name and his wife wanted something different....they argued back and forth and finally he said put no name on it...we can't decide on a name, so that's what we'll call it.......NO NAME...they all laughed and I went to lettering....it was known as the "No Name" Vega Wagon.....ran for several years.
